Eating out in Knightsbridge / SW3

The choice of places to eat within walking distance is pretty much limitless. Here are a few of the owner's personal favourites…

No. Fifty Cheyne – our standout favourite. 30-35 minute walk or 10-minute cab ride tucked away in Old Chelsea. Seasonal and beautifully presented food is a lovely setting. Steak and fish lovers equally well (plus vegetarian options). Renowned for its Saturday and Sunday roasts -  the soufflés are to die for! 50 Cheyne Walk, London, SW3 5LR.

Scalini – Classic Italian Food, 5 minutes’ walk away in Walton Street. 1 – 3 Walton Street, SW3 2JD-  Reserve via Open Table.

Daphne’s – stylish and popular Italian at the top of Draycott Avenue (turn left at the far end of Walton Street and you are there). 112 Draycott Avenue, SW3 3AE, 020 7589 4257. daphnes-restaurant.co.uk

Cicchetti by San Carlo – stunning interiors and great food (small plates from all parts of Italy) directly opposite the side entrance to Harrods. 6 Hans Road.
